Brad Hutchins brings more than 20 years of collegiate athletics leadership to Washington State University, having joined Cougar Athletics in September 2025. He currently serves as Deputy Director of Athletics and Chief Revenue Officer, where he leads the department’s external strategy and oversees the Cougar Athletic Fund, Athletic Communications, Creative Services, Marketing and Promotions, Licensing, NIL, Ticketing, and Equipment units. He also manages key partnerships with Aramark, Nike, and Playfly Sports.
Prior to Washington State, Hutchins spent six years at the University of Oregon as Director of Brand Activation. In that role, he led branding, licensing, and revenue initiatives while managing partnerships with Fanatics, Nike, Columbia Sportswear, and Disney, contributing to more than $2 million in increased revenue.
Hutchins previously dedicated more than 14 years to the University of New Mexico, including service as Deputy Director of Athletics for External Operations. There, he oversaw marketing, communications, ticketing, licensing, concessions, and multimedia rights, while also serving as sport supervisor for football, baseball, men’s golf, and men’s and women’s track and field and cross country. His leadership included major RFI/RFP processes that generated new revenue, reduced expenses, and secured significant gifts and sponsorship.
A native of Missouri, Hutchins earned his bachelor’s degree from Missouri State University and a master’s degree in sport administration from Canisius College. He and his wife, Michelle, have two children, Amira and Connor, and a Great Dane named Rose.
Brandy Finch
Assistant Athletic Director, Annual Giving and Stewardship

Brandy Finch joins the Cougar Athletic Fund (CAF) as the Assistant Athletic Director, Annual Giving and Stewardship. Brandy will oversee the annual giving strategy, business operations, donor stewardship, events and hospitality, and strategic communications.Â
Most recently, Brandy served as a member of the WSU Athletics executive team as the Special Assistant to the Athletic Director since 2022. Having served two Athletic Directors, Brandy has worked with every sport and unit within the department as well as formed lasting relationships throughout the greater campus and Pullman community.
Originally from Yakima, Wash., Brandy earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Central Washington University in 2009, beginning a career spanning more than a decade in public service. From interning in Washington State Legislature and the U.S. House of Representatives, to advancing legislative priorities for the Governor of Alaska, and serving as the Chief of Staff for two Mayors at the City of Spokane. These roles have given Brandy deep experience in organizational management, public affairs, and stewardship of public funds.
Brandy is married to Cody Finch, a Pullman native and lifelong Coug fan. They have three kids, Mason, Hailey, and Cash. She enjoys attending sporting events and gardening at the family farm where her husband is a cattle rancher.

Marcus Beals
Assistant Athletic Director, Development

Marcus Beals joined the Cougar Athletic Fund as Director of Development in August 2023. He is responsible for the development and engagement efforts across the state with a focus on Southwest, Central, and Eastern Washington.
Marcus joined the CAF after four years at Georgetown University in Washington, DC where he worked for both Georgetown Athletics and the Assistant Vice President for Development. With Georgetown Athletics he focused on identifying prospective donors, working with coaches and administrators on sport specific funding initiatives, and oversaw the department's stewardship efforts. While on the Hilltop he received a master’s degree in sports industry management from Georgetown University in 2022.
Born on the Palouse, Marcus grew up in Eugene, Oregon and got his first job in athletics working as a communications intern for the University of Oregon. He took the short trip up I-5 to attend Oregon State University for undergrad while working in Our Beaver Nation as a development intern. He graduated in 2019 with three Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting, Finance, and Business Administration.Â
Residing in Pullman, Marcus enjoys endurance running and cycling across the beautiful Pacific Northwest landscape.
Mariah McConnaughey

Mariah McConnaughey joined the Cougar Athletic Fund in May of 2024.
Most recently, Mariah spent nearly ten years working at SNAP (Spokane Neighborhood Action Partners), culminating with over six years heading the Communications and Fundraising Team. In this role she oversaw all communication and fundraising efforts including annual giving, grants, corporate relations, major donors, planned giving, and events. Prior to her time at SNAP, Mariah spent five years living in London, UK, where she received her Masters in Primate Conservation from Oxford Brookes University and worked at the World Society for the Protection of Animals, after a stint in Bangladesh as a US Peace Corps volunteer.
Having received her undergraduate degree in Zoology from University of California, Santa Barbara in 2002, Mariah has long been a Coug by association and football season ticket holder for over 12 years, and she is a passionate sports fan. She is excited to join the WSU Athletics team and get to finally be a real Coug!
After fourteen years away after high school, Mariah was excited to return to her hometown of Spokane, in 2011, where she lives with her husband, Jonathan Myers (WSU Class of ’03), daughter, Brynnlee, and aging dog, Betsy. She can often be found running or skiing to keep herself mentally balanced. Â
Daniel Calhoun

Daniel Calhoun joined the Cougar Athletic Fund (CAF) as Director of Development in March 2025. He is responsible for development and engagement efforts both regionally and states outside of the Pacific Northwest. Â
Prior to arriving at Pullman, Daniel served as Assistant Director for Ticket Sales & Service at Boise State University. In this role, he generated over $1 million in new revenue, secured capital gifts for the North End Zone Project, led external operations for the women’s soccer team, and played a major role in the community as Bronco Athletics’ youth sports liaison and representative for the chamber of commerce.Â
Daniel also worked in the ski industry and professional hockey before moving to the west coast. He was the Product Sales Lead at Mount Sunapee in New Hampshire and spent two seasons as a Sponsorship Coordinator Assistant for the AHL’s Charlotte Checkers.
He began his career in athletics as a development representative with the Yosef Club before graduating in 2018 from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. He then earned a Master of Science in Sport Management with a specialization in law from the University of Florida in 2020.
Daniel grew up in North Carolina but now lives in Pullman and enjoys playing golf and hiking in his spare time.
Taylor Welter-Kincaid

Taylor Welter-Kincaid joined the Cougar Athletic Fund as the Manager of Development Operations in July 2023.Â
Born and raised in Pullman, Taylor graduated from Pullman High School and then went on to study at North Idaho College before moving back home to continue her education at Washington State University.Â
Taylor started her career with WSU in 2014 as a Fiscal Specialist for the Sociology department, and most recently serving as a Fiscal Analyst for the Finance Unit at the WSU Foundation.Â
Taylor and her husband, Zach, reside on the family farm with their three boys, Jaxon, Colt and Oliver.Â
Dana Jorgensen
Annual Fund Coordinator

Dana Jorgensen joins the Cougar Athletic Fund as the Annual Fund Coordinator, a post she assumed in October 2025.
Prior to arriving in Pullman, Jorgensen worked as the Assistant Manager of Ticket and Sales for the University of Wyoming. She helped supervise the ticket distribution and customer service for Football, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Volleyball, and Wrestling, while overseeing the daily deposits, student-workers, and renewal campaigns.
Jorgensen is originally from Castle Rock, Colorado and graduated from the University of Wyoming with an undergraduate degree in Zoology and a minor in Chemistry. During her time at the University of Wyoming, she interned for four years at the Cowboy Joe Club where she had the opportunity to work gamedays as well as donor events such as the Annual Auction and Golf Series.
Outside of work, Dana enjoys reading, watching movies, playing mahjong, and outdoor activities like skiing, hiking, and paddle boarding.
