2022 Hall of Fame Spotlight

In 2022, Washington State University Athletics published a series of stories highlighting the members of the 2022 Hall of Fame Class. Eight individuals and one team were inducted to the Athletic Hall of Fame, Sept. 16-17, 2022. As part of the Cougars' year-long Power of IX campaign celebrating the 50th anniversary of Title IX, the 2022 class is an all-female class. Learn the stories of these exceptional Cougars and the legacy they left at Washington State University.

Eka Burduli (tennis, 2005-08): Ended her WSU career with a school-record 91 career singles victories…three-time All-Pac-10 selection…finished senior season with 28 victories, the first player in WSU history to register three-straight 20-win seasons…led WSU to the NCAA Championships in 2008, while making her second appearance at the NCAA Singles Championships…WSU's 2008 Pac-10 Medal winner. Anastasia Kostina

Anastasia Kostina (golf, 2003-06): Two-time NGCA All-American…member of three NCAA West Regional teams…three-time All-Pac-10 selection…captured three individual tournament titles and helped WSU to six team titles…two-time NGCA All-Scholar team. LaToya Harris-Alexander

LaToya Harris-Alexander (volleyball, 1999-2002): A four-year letterwinner at WSU…three-time All-Pac-10 First-Team selection…finished career with school records for aces (143)…two-time Pac-10 Player of the Week…member of three NCAA Championship tournament teams, including Elite Eight team in 2002…finished career in school Top-10 lists in multiple categories. Georgette Reed

Georgette Reed (swimming/track & field, 1988-91): Began WSU career as swimming student-athlete before injuries forced move to track & field…two-time All-American in the shot put…finished fifth at the NCAA Indoor and Outdoor championships in the shot as a senior…remains WSU's school-record holder...1991 Pac-10 Medal winner from WSU…17-time Canadian National shot put champion and two-time discuss champion…father, George, is a member of the WSU Hall of Fame (football). Lisa Fraser

Lisa Fraser (soccer, 1989-94):  First coach of WSU's NCAA soccer program in 1989 and coached the Cougars for five seasons…led WSU to five-straight winning seasons…1990 Northwest Collegiate Soccer Conference Coach of the Year…helped WSU to then program-best No. 11 ranking early in 1993 season. Celestine N'Drin

Celestine N'Drin (track & field, 1986-90): Two-time Outdoor All-American in the 800m…continues to hold WSU women's record in the 400m and 800m…two-time Pac-10 champion in the 800m (1987, '90) and Pac-10 champion in the 400m (1989)…member of Pac-10 winning 1600m Relay Team as a freshman…represented Ivory Coast in both the 1984 and 1988 Olympics. Tammy Crawford

Tammy Crawford (rowing, 1990-2002): Was WSU's first coach in the newly established varsity rowing program in 1990…under her guidance, WSU's varsity and novice level boats claimed a total of two National Championships and five Pac-10 Championships…2001 and 2002 Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association West Region Coach of the Year. Kiersten Dallstream

Kiersten Dallstream (soccer, 2006-09): Finished WSU career for career goals (30) and points (76)…helped WSU to back-to-back NCAA Tournaments for the first time in school history in 2008 and 2009…two-time All-Region and All-Pac-10 selection…was Pac-10 medal winner and NSCAA Scholar-Athlete Second Team following senior season…first-round draft pick in 2010 and played 10 seasons of professional soccer. 1991 WBB Team

1991 Women's Basketball Team: The 1991 team was the first in program history to reach the NCAA Championship, where it faced No. 22 Northwestern…team posted an 18-11 overall record, the most wins for WSU in 12 seasons…head coach Harold Rhodes was named Pac-10 Coach of the Year…had four players average in double figures, led by senior center Kristin Metson's 14.5 ppg. 1991 WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TEAM STORY: THE FIRST
